De World Series of Poker komt met een gloednieuwe serie op de proppen: de WSOP Super Circuit. Het festival vindt tussen 27 juli en 13 augustus plaats in Londen, terwijl men weer samenwerkt met GGPoker. Het wordt de grootste circuit stop ooit met een gegarandeerde prijzenpot van £7 miljoen. Pijler van de serie is het £3.300 WSOP Super Circuit Main Event. Daarnaast wordt ook het £1.100 WSOP Circuit Main een zeer interessant toernooi.

WSOP Super Circuit Londen
Alle ogen zijn momenteel gericht op de WSOP in Las Vegas, de meest prestigieuze toernooireeks ter wereld. De organisatie kijkt echter ook naar de toekomst en komt met een mooi festival in Europa. Voor het eerst wordt de WSOP Super Circuit in Londen georganiseerd. Men strijkt tussen 27 juli en 13 augustus neer in het welbekende JW Marriott Grosvenor House, vlak naast het Hyde Park.
£3.300 Super Circuit Main Event
De pokeraars kunnen weer op jacht naar ringen, zoals dat in Nederland kan in Venlo en Rotterdam. In de Engelse hoofdstad staan vijftien events op de rol. Het hoofdgerecht is het £3.300 Super Circuit Main Event, bestaande uit drie startdagen. De gegarandeerde prijzenpot zal liefst £3 miljoen bedragen. Tegen het eind van de serie vindt daar de beslissing plaats, en weten we wie de eerste editie van het nieuwe evenement wint.
Overige events
De reeks start met een £560 Mystery Bounty, het concept dat aan populariteit blijft winnen. Het toernooi bestaat uit liefst acht flights, met een prijzenpot van tenminste £1 miljoen. Het £1.100 Circuit Main Event kent vier startdagen met eveneens £1 miljoen guaranteed. Andere interessante events zijn onder meer de £5.300 High Roller en £10.400 Super High Roller.
