888poker is ook de komende twee jaar de hoofdsponsor van de World Series of Poker. De pokerroom is de enige die online WSOP-satellites aanbiedt. In 2016 kwalificeerden ruim 250 spelers zich via 888poker voor het Main Event. Instappen kan vanaf 1 luizig dollarcentje.
De bekendste namen van het WSOP Main Event 2016 die zich plaatsten via 888poker, waren natuurlijk Fernando Pons en Griffin Benger. Pons plaatste zich voor $30, terwijl Benger zich last minute in kocht in een $1.050 qualifier. Pons werd negende voor $1 miljoen, Benger zevende voor $1,25 miljoen. Zo’n satellite shippen kan dus een aardige return on investment opleveren. In 2015 was er zelfs een speler die zichzelf voor $0,01 plaatste en het geld haalde. Tommy Yates zette dat enige luizige dollarcentje om in $19.500 en daar was ie blij mee:
