PokerStars neemt drastische maatregelen om collusion tevoorkomen. Voortaan mag er maar één Chinees tegelijkertijd aan een ring gametafel zitten. De beperking is het gevolg van een massale samenwerking tussenChinese spelers in de double-or-nothing games, afgelopen augustus. PokerStarszou $2.1 miljoen hebben uitgekeerd aan benadeelde spelers.
Spelers met China als locatie, ontvingen de volgende e-mailvan PokerStars:
“PokerStars has introduced a new security feature which prevents players fromcertain countries playing at the same ring game table. This restriction meansthat only one player from each of these countries is able to play at the samering game table.
“You are able to play at any ring game table you wish, but once you are seatedno other player from your country will be able to join the table. Similarly, ifanother player from your country is seated, you will be unable to join thattable until they leave.
“We regret the inconveniencethat this has caused you, but this policy has been implemented to enhance theintegrity of the games.”
