WSOP Main Event – Inzetschema

 Voor de liefhebbers in dit bericht het blindschema van het World Series of Poker Main Event. Cliffnotes: Dag 1A en 1C komen samen op dag 2A en dag 1B en 1D op 2B. Na de dagen 2 is er op 13 juli een rustig, waarna op dag 3 alle spelers tegelijk mogen aanschuiven. Geen ’tieten, schieten, helikopter’, maar gewoon een rijtje met getallen!

Op dag 1 worden vijf blindlevels gespeeld. De startstack bedraagt 30.000 punten. Als je aan de start van dag 2 nog je beginstack speelt, heb je zo’n 60 big blinds. Maak je het helemaal bont en kom je dag 2 ook nog door met een stack van rond de 30.000, dan wordt het al lastiger met nog zo’n kleine twintig blinden. Verzamel je op dag 3 weer geen extra muntjes, dan mag je op dag 4 (start level 15) aan de bak met een een blindje of zeven/acht. Kortom: muntjes verzamelen is de bedoeling!

Opvallend zijn (al de hele WSOP overigens) de grootte van de ante. In level 17, 18 en 19 is de ante 1.000, terwijl de blinds 3.000/6.000, 4.000/8.000 en 5.000/10.000 zijn.

General Rules

  • Players may select their first day of play until that day (based upon availability)
  • Play will begin on days 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D at 12 pm (July 7, July 8, July 9 & July 10)
  • Players begin with 30,000 in tournament chips
  • All Levels will last 120 minutes
  • Breaks occur after each level and last 20 minutes
  • Play will continue on days 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D until the completion of level 5
  • Dinner break will be after 3 levels of play each day and last 90 minutes
  • Day 2A – Remaining players from Days 1A & 1C will be combined together, resume play at12 PM on Monday, July 11, 2011, and play 5 levels
  • Day 2B – Remaining players from Days 1B & 1D will be combined together, resume play at12 PM on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, and play 5 levels
  • Players will have a day off on Wednesday, July 13, 2011
  • Day 3 – Remaining players from Days 2A & 2B will be combined together, resume play at12 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2011, and play 4 levels
  • Day 4 – play will continue at 12 PM on Friday, July 15, 2011, and play 4 levels
  • Day 5 – play will continue at 12 PM on Saturday, July 16, 2011, and play 4-5 levels
  • Day 6 – play will continue at 12 PM on Sunday, July 17, 2011, and play 5 levels
  • Day 7 – play will continue at 12 PM on Monday, July 18, 2011, and play down to 27 players
  • Day 8 – play will continue at 12 PM on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, and play down to 9 players
  • The Final Table will resume play November 5-7, 2011
  • Adjustments may be made to the number of levels played each day

 

  • The Rio reserves the right to alter or change the schedule in order to play the tournament in the above mentioned timeframe. 4.2% of the total entry pool will be withheld for entry fees, and 1.8% of the total entry pool will be withheld for tournament staff.
