De ‘queen of the screen’ van het internationale poker heeft weer werk gevonden. Kara Scott maakte onlangs bekend te vertrekken bij Part[Po]ker en heeft niet stilgezeten. Samen met haar man Giovanni is ze in dienst getreden bij Tilt Events als consultant en ambassadeur.
Tilt Events organiseert pokertoernooien in Italië, waaronder het Venice Poker Festival later dit jaar. Scott neemt als schnabbel ook nog de presentatie van de American Poker Awards voor haar rekening op 27 februari. Op de website van Tilt Events staat Kara alweer te stralen als ambassadeur. Via haar blog op cardrunners maakte ze het nieuws wereldkundig:
“I am so excited to announce thattogether with Giovanni, I am joining Tilt Events as a consultant and brandambassador. Now, Giovanni and I will be joining their team, being involved all theway from the early dreaming stages to the fine detail execution of the Tilt Cupevents as well as bringing back – and this is REALLY exciting – the VenicePoker Festival for the end of 2015! We’re both energised to work hard, listenand help create tournaments that are the kind of events that we as players wouldlove to attend. So there you have it. One of my projects for this year will be centredaround awesome poker events in awesome Venice. Excited is an understatement!”
Over Tilt Events wilde Kara het volgende kwijt:

For years I’ve had so much respect for both theirwork and their work ethic. (Plus, their staff and dealers have always beenwelcoming and awesome towards me, a few bad beats dealt notwithstanding.)”
Tilt Events heeft overigens helemaal niets met Full Tilt te maken, wat dan op zichzelf best wel tiltend is weer.
